Kim founded Focus Forward in 2003. Her dedication to an outstanding client experience, quality of service and a passion for helping clients on the ground while their research is happening drove her to create a company and build a team with those core values. Kim has taken the firm from a start up to one of the largest independent recruitment and transcription firms supporting the field services of market research clients. As a supplier in marketing research services, Kim has worked to grow Focus Forward and the products the firm offers while keeping the highest possible quality standard, and with a strong emphasis on client communication— so that all clients know their project is in safe hands.
Prior to Focus Forward, Kim traded interest rate & currency derivatives on the desk for Deutsche Bank in NYC & London. A native of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Kim holds a B.S. in Accounting from King’s College and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Georgetown University.
Executive Vice President
Jean has been with the firm since Focus Forward was founded in 2003. Jean has worn many hats as the firm grew from a few people to its current size and brought her expertise to areas like project management, accounting and training, to name a few. Her most recent emphasis for the past 7 years has been in the retention and growth of client relationships. Jean brings extensive experience across a broad range of marketing research areas and overall management.
Prior to Focus Forward, Jean spent a better part of her career in publishing. The magazine she owned, Moneytalk, was targeted at helping consumers with refund offers and stretching their budget to the fullest extent possible. Jean ran all operations of the magazine and brings that wealth of experience to her roles at Focus Forward.
Executive Vice President
Dave leads the operations for Focus Forward, with his main areas of focus being qualitative recruiting, transcription & coding. His inspired leadership has helped drive the internal and client facing strategic direction of the firm. Dave’s impact and greatest strengths are in building an outstanding team of research professionals driven to develop and then execute processes and programs so that our clients have the best possible research experience and result.
Prior to Focus Forward, Dave founded a consulting company in the Philadelphia area and before that move spent much of his career with AmeriGas and Campbell Soup Company. He holds a BA from Temple University.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Andrew tailors Focus Forward’s rich array of products and services to help clients achieve their strategic objectives and deadlines.
During his 26-year career, he has worked with market research and economic analysis firms serving a wide range of industries, among them higher education, hospitality, technology, economic development, financial services and both state and local government. Andrew’s key areas of expertise include tactical and strategic planning, data mining and analytics, and team-building and management. As a sales and marketing executive, he has opened new markets, launched new products and generated new revenue streams.
Just prior to joining Focus Forward, Andrew served as Vice President of Sales for Sandelman & Associates, a food service consumer research firm. He earned his BS from Georgetown College (Georgetown, Kentucky) with a dual major in marketing and finance.
