Vice President, Sales & Marketing

The VP of Sales & Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO, will generate US based business for Transcription, Coding, Nationwide Qualitative Recruiting & Incentive Processing with full service marketing research firms and Fortune 500 brands, as well as oversee and drive the marketing strategy. This position will target clients globally and may be located anywhere in the U.S. (East Coast preferred) in proximity to a major U.S. airport.

The VP of Sales & Marketing works with the CEO and other senior staff in creating integrated sales and marketing campaigns. The VP will coordinate teams in presentations, responses to RFPs and other sales and marketing initiatives. The role will be responsible for the success of the business development team, the client service managers and the existing accounts.

He or she will participate in professional and trade associations and attend conferences and periodic professional meetings to promote the firm’s visibility and to establish and manage client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus)
  • 5+ years successful track record of direct sales to marketing research suppliers
  • Experience building and managing a global sales team
  • Familiarity with Qualitative Services, Transcription & Coding
  • Track record of winning projects, opening new accounts and consistently exceeding sales quotas. This position requires active selling in addition to overseeing/growing a team
  • Keen understanding of data driven marketing practices that generate sales and prospect engagement
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to develop business
  • Expert level knowledge of Zoho CRM and other lead gen tools
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Prospect Pipeline Management

  • Oversees lead generation team performance (including KPI reporting and quota management)
  • Insures weekly pipeline reviews are completed and delivers weekly summary to CEO
  • Regularly reviews key prospect sales plans
  • Insures lead generation team is properly following sales process and effectively building pipeline
  • Insures sales team’s pipeline (by market) is sufficient for success
  • Identify new business opportunities in key verticals
  • Maximize cross selling

Sales & Reporting Metrics

  • Outline strategic and operational goals for sales team
  • Runs weekly sales meeting
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports via CRM showing consolidated numbers for sales team, with actual, forecasts and quotas as compared to budget
  • Provide constant ongoing management to ensure sales team CRM compliance
  • Reports monthly reconciliation of actual sales vs budget

Prospect Relationships

  • Travels regularly to make on-site sales calls
  • Builds prospect relationships with higher-level decision makers within prospect organization
  • Builds relationships with key influencers in the BI and analytics industries to stay current with important business/industry issues
  • Work directly with clients to support their corporate research initiatives

Administration

  • Assist in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual quotas and sales goals with the CEO
  • Reviews current period forecast changes daily and communicates significant deviations to the CEO
  • Reviews all proposals and client agreements
  • Manage sales and marketing P&L and develop annual budgets
  • Contributes strategically to the growth of FF as part of the senior management team

  • Communicates effectively with others using appropriate tools to advance business, team and organizational goals
  • Constructively challenges the views of others and influences others in the pursuit of shared objectives

Team Management

  • Proven ability to attract, develop and retain top talent
  • Oversees Marketing Manager and works closely with marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing teams

  • Conducts all sales training and regularly reviews team to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Responsible for career development and performance management of direct reports. Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Recommends compensation actions

Proofreader (Part Time)

We are seeking a part-time Proofreader to join our Transcription Department.  The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to experience in:

  • Proofread Microsoft Word document transcripts for accuracy against an audio file
  • Transcribe notes for market research interviews via phone line, streaming video/audio or recorded audio
  • Review applicant test submissions and assist in hiring independent contractors
  • Provide feedback via email to transcribers

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Superb attention to details
  • Mastery of the English language, including both punctuation and grammar rules
  • Self-motivated, proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home, as needed
  • Associates Degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Market Research Recruiter (Part Time)

We have immediate part time openings for individuals who will be making outbound calls to candidates being recruited for Focus Groups. You must be computer literate and be able to read specific questions to the candidates which you will record on questionnaires. Part time hours can vary from 10am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, and 10am to 5pm on Friday. College students welcome.
