Business Development Manager

Responsible for generating transcription business.  This position will target clients in the U.S. and Canada. The position may be located anywhere in the U.S. (Philadelphia area preferred) in proximity to a major U.S. airport.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will call on prospective transcription clients.  He or she will work with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and other senior staff in creating integrated sales campaigns. The BDM will coordinate and run in-person client meetings, responses to RFPs and other sales and marketing initiatives.  He or she will participate in professional and trade associations and attend conferences and professional meetings to promote the firm’s visibility and to establish and manage client relationships and highlight product opportunities.

Essential Functions: 

  • Experience in transcription sales, strong hunter and closer
  • Identifies and qualifies transcription account prospects nationwide
  • Makes contact with the appropriate decision makers within the potential client organization to demonstrate service benefits and secure accounts
  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations
  • Gathers and analyzes information of targeted market and competitive information associated with these accounts
  • Monitor account production, growth, future needs and ROI
  • Track and report sales production results and statistics on a weekly basis to VP of Sales & Marketing

 

Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • 4 years+ previous sales experience in transcription, translation or similar, with proven record of top sales performance (must disclose documented prior sales goals, performance, and earnings during interviewing process)
  • Track record of winning projects, opening new accounts and consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Must be an outgoing, positive, people person
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven professional with strong work ethic
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A history of roles that have decision making regarding proposals and cost requests
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to develop business
  • Excellent time management and strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability in planning/organizing, execution and follow-up
  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively and meet deadlines
  • Expert level knowledge of SFA software (SalesForce.com preferred) and lead generation tools and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience with Zoho or another CRM

Client Services Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) Client Services Manager responsible for building relationships with clients of Focus Forward’s 2 large divisions. This position is accountable for the costing, feasibility and follow-up of potential projects, as well as working with clients on project consultation and best methodologies. A regular outreach schedule to assigned accounts is required to retain current business and establish new relationships.

  • Quote RFPs to outside clients. Cost requests come in via email or phone and this role will need to: speak with the client to clarify, quote the RFP & call the client to motivate them to use our services
  • Negotiate the project with the client to match the services we offer with what is needed for the job
  • Follow-up on proposals to win the projects by Client Services Manager and management
  • Become the in-house expert on the services we provide from an operational standpoint
  • Support the sales team on sales calls, new project calls and in-person meetings, as needed
  • Approval of final invoice on bid projects
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all clients, anticipating and exceeding their needs
  • Regular outreach to existing and potential clients

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited university or college
  • 5+ years of client based experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A history of roles that have decision making regarding proposals and cost requests
  • Proven experience in successful negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Experience with Zoho or another CRM
  • Market research experience a plus, but not required

Market Research Project Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time (Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm) Project Manager to manage market research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating, monitoring and executing market research project activity to meet our clients’ project goals within a specified time period
  • Project set up and maintenance
  • Daily client contact involving updates, phone and e-mail contact. This role is heavily involved in client contact on each specific project
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Monitoring internal project costs and feasibility throughout fielding
  • Oversight of internal recruiting team assigned to your projects

Education/Experience that would be an asset to our firm:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university or college
  • Project management experience in related industry preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in a results driven, fast paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment and foresight
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010, with emphasis on Excel skills

Proofreader (Part Time)

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Superb attention to details
  • Mastery of the English language, including both punctuation and grammar rules
  • Self-motivated, proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home, as needed
  • Associates Degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Market Research Recruiter (Part Time)

We have immediate part time openings for individuals who will be making outbound calls to candidates being recruited for Focus Groups. You must be computer literate and be able to read specific questions to the candidates which you will record on questionnaires. Part time hours can vary from 10am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, and 10am to 5pm on Friday. College students welcome.

Requirements:
* Comfortable using a computer with Microsoft Windows
* Excellent communication skills
