Vice President, Sales & Marketing

The VP of Sales & Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO, will generate US based business for Transcription, Coding, Nationwide Qualitative Recruiting & Incentive Processing with full service marketing research firms and Fortune 500 brands, as well as oversee and drive the marketing strategy. This position will target clients globally and may be located anywhere in the U.S. (East Coast preferred) in proximity to a major U.S. airport.

The VP of Sales & Marketing works with the CEO and other senior staff in creating integrated sales and marketing campaigns. The VP will coordinate teams in presentations, responses to RFPs and other sales and marketing initiatives. The role will be responsible for the success of the business development team, the client service managers and the existing accounts.

He or she will participate in professional and trade associations and attend conferences and periodic professional meetings to promote the firm’s visibility and to establish and manage client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus)
  • 5+ years successful track record of direct sales to marketing research suppliers
  • Experience building and managing a global sales team
  • Familiarity with Qualitative Services, Transcription & Coding
  • Track record of winning projects, opening new accounts and consistently exceeding sales quotas. This position requires active selling in addition to overseeing/growing a team
  • Keen understanding of data driven marketing practices that generate sales and prospect engagement
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to develop business
  • Expert level knowledge of Zoho CRM and other lead gen tools
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Prospect Pipeline Management

  • Oversees lead generation team performance (including KPI reporting and quota management)
  • Insures weekly pipeline reviews are completed and delivers weekly summary to CEO
  • Regularly reviews key prospect sales plans
  • Insures lead generation team is properly following sales process and effectively building pipeline
  • Insures sales team’s pipeline (by market) is sufficient for success
  • Identify new business opportunities in key verticals
  • Maximize cross selling

Sales & Reporting Metrics

  • Outline strategic and operational goals for sales team
  • Runs weekly sales meeting
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports via CRM showing consolidated numbers for sales team, with actual, forecasts and quotas as compared to budget
  • Provide constant ongoing management to ensure sales team CRM compliance
  • Reports monthly reconciliation of actual sales vs budget

Prospect Relationships

  • Travels regularly to make on-site sales calls
  • Builds prospect relationships with higher-level decision makers within prospect organization
  • Builds relationships with key influencers in the BI and analytics industries to stay current with important business/industry issues
  • Work directly with clients to support their corporate research initiatives

Administration

  • Assist in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual quotas and sales goals with the CEO
  • Reviews current period forecast changes daily and communicates significant deviations to the CEO
  • Reviews all proposals and client agreements
  • Manage sales and marketing P&L and develop annual budgets
  • Contributes strategically to the growth of FF as part of the senior management team

  • Communicates effectively with others using appropriate tools to advance business, team and organizational goals

Team Management

  • Oversees Marketing Manager and works closely with marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing teams

  • Conducts all sales training and regularly reviews team to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Responsible for career development and performance management of direct reports. Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets

Director of Operations, Qualitative and Transcription Services (Full Time)

Wayne, PA

We are seeking an experienced operational leader who combines deep process orientation and project management skills and experience with solid business acumen and leadership skills. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the day to day management of the Qualitative and Transcription services departments to ensure client satisfaction via monitoring and upgrading of processes.

Job Expectations:

  • General management and day-to-day operations of the transcription and qualitative divisions
  • Create and manage operational processes and systems to improve organizational planning, information flow and reporting
  • Responsible for the day-to-day performance management of the team
  • Play a significant role in process improvement and retention of contractors
  • Oversee financial management on daily processes and staffing levels
  • Assist in the oversight of operations and project management, including project workflow, pricing, negotiation, project consulting and set up
  • Identify, understand and adopt relevant best practices in our processes and client communication
  • Management of the call center to the goal numbers
  • Develop and execute plans along with the Executive Vice President to influence outcomes and close performance gaps

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate a high aptitude for leadership, communication skills and staff development
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a management role
  • Experience with P&L responsibility and ability to excel in general technology
  • Call center experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with market research services.

Client Services Manager (Full Time)

Wayne, PA

We are currently seeking a full-time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) Client Services Manager responsible for building relationships with clients of Focus Forward’s 2 large divisions. This position is accountable for the costing, feasibility and follow-up of potential projects, as well as working with clients on project consultation and best methodologies. A regular outreach schedule to assigned accounts is required to retain current business and establish new relationships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Quote RFPs to outside clients. Cost requests come in via email or phone and this role will need to: speak with the client to clarify, quote the RFP & call the client to motivate them to use our services
  • Negotiate the project with the client to match the services we offer with what is needed for the job
  • Follow-up on proposals to win the projects by Client Services Manager and management
  • Become the in-house expert on the services we provide from an operational standpoint
  • Support the sales team on sales calls, new project calls and in-person meetings, as needed
  • Approval of final invoice on bid projects
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all clients, anticipating and exceeding their needs
  • Regular outreach to existing and potential clients

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited university or college
  • 5+ years of client based experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A history of roles that have decision making regarding proposals and cost requests
  • Proven experience in successful negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Experience with Zoho or another CRM

We are currently seeking a full-time (Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm) Project Manager to manage market research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating, monitoring and executing market research project activity to meet our clients’ project goals within a specified time period
  • Project set up and maintenance
  • Daily client contact involving updates, phone and e-mail contact. This role is heavily involved in client contact on each specific project
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Monitoring internal project costs and feasibility throughout fielding
  • Oversight of internal recruiting team assigned to your projects

Education/Experience that would be an asset to our firm:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university or college
  • Project management experience in related industry preferred, but not required

Market Research Recruiter (Part Time)

We have immediate part time openings for individuals who will be making outbound calls to candidates being recruited for Focus Groups. You must be computer literate and be able to read specific questions to the candidates which you will record on questionnaires. Part time hours can vary from 10am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, and 10am to 5pm on Friday. College students welcome.
