Executive Director- Transcription Services

The Executive Director heads the firm’s largest division: Focus Forward Transcription.

This is responsible for all aspects of this business line, including client relationships, employee functions, operations and management of sales operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • General management and day-to-day operations of the transcription division
  • Plans, organizes, administers, reviews and evaluates the work of the division’s employees and contractors
  • Responsible for P&L’s of division. Oversees the financial well-being of the division by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for department to understand costs and improve profit margins
  • Research and evaluate technologies to streamline division operations. Oversees the continued development of the internal project management program and other technologies, ensuring progress is made accurately and within set timelines.
  • Maintain monthly goal system for department employees. Ensure employees have clear, measurable goals and timelines
  • Directs and monitors daily operations to ensure that processes and policies are being followed, that goals and objectives are met and that services are being provided efficiently and effectively
  • Innovate and execute new processes and procedures, as well as evaluate and improve upon existing ones
  • Monitors invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate accounting processes
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring within the division, including the evaluation and recommendation of staffing needs.
  • Implement training programs and update manuals for new employees
  • Oversee training of new employees
  • Leads sales team in outreach to new services. Makes recommendations on new services, verticals, industries and clients to reach out to. Develop and monitor progress and make recommendation on next steps forward
  • Manage the relationship between sales and operations, ensuring open communication and visibility between sales and operations

Business Development Manager

Responsible for generating transcription business.  This position will target clients in the U.S. and Canada. The position may be located anywhere in the U.S. (Philadelphia area preferred) in proximity to a major U.S. airport. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will call on prospective transcription clients.  He or she will work with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and other senior staff in creating integrated sales campaigns. The BDM will coordinate and run in-person client meetings, responses to RFPs and other sales and marketing initiatives.  He or she will participate in professional and trade associations and attend conferences and professional meetings to promote the firm’s visibility and to establish and manage client relationships and highlight product opportunities. Essential Functions: 

  • Experience in transcription sales, strong hunter and closer
  • Identifies and qualifies transcription account prospects nationwide
  • Makes contact with the appropriate decision makers within the potential client organization to demonstrate service benefits and secure accounts
  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations
  • Gathers and analyzes information of targeted market and competitive information associated with these accounts
  • Monitor account production, growth, future needs and ROI
  • Track and report sales production results and statistics on a weekly basis to VP of Sales & Marketing

Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • 4 years+ previous sales experience in transcription with proven record of top sales performance (must disclose documented prior sales goals, performance, and earnings during interviewing process)
  • Track record of winning projects, opening new accounts and consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Must be an outgoing, positive, people person
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven professional with strong work ethic
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A history of roles that have decision making regarding proposals and cost requests
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to develop business

Transcription Client Services Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time in office or remote Transcription Client Services Manager. We are looking for someone who loves building relationships and forging new ones!  Clients come to us for speech to text needs from every industry and we need another team member to help us help them.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep in contact with several hundred relationships so we are top of mind with clients
  • Quote RFPs to outside clients. Cost requests come in via email or phone and this role will need to: speak with the client to clarify, quote the RFP & call the client to motivate them to use our services
  • Negotiate the project and consult on the service we have that will fit their need
  • Email market and drive possible clients to use our service
  • Follow-up on proposals to win the projects by Client Services Manager and management
  • Become the in-house expert on the services we provide from an operational standpoint
  • Regular outreach to existing and potential clients

 

Qualifications:

  • Energy, enthusiasm and genuine excitement to support clients with their speech to text needs
  • 5+ years of client contact experience
  • Outstanding written communication skills

Market Research Project Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time (Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm) Project Manager to manage market research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating, monitoring and executing market research project activity to meet our clients’ project goals within a specified time period

Associate Project Manager

We are searching for an outgoing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Office Manager handles receptionist responsibilities, as well as supporting the executive and management team.
